Over the last 24 hours we have news that will prove once more that the ladies are on top when it comes to horror.
Firstly the news that, even before her directoral debut hits the screens, Jennifer Blanc-Biehn will take the directors seat once again for Blanc/Biehn Productions.
Jennifer Blanc-Biehn has several film projects in the pipeline for Blanc/Biehn Productions that she will produce, and star in, the newest one and her second time directing a feature includes the upcoming horror thriller ‘The Girl’.
‘The Girl’ will see Blanc-Biehn teaming up once more with executive producer and investor Lony Ruhmann will again collaborate on the project with his ideas and creative vision along with Blanc-Biehn on ‘The Girl’, which will star Evie Louise Thompson (The Call) in the title role. Other notable stars joining the talented cast are Michael Biehn (Terminator), Tia Carrere (True Lies), Dana Daurey (Among Friends), Nick Nicholson (Hidden in the Woods), Raven Carrell, Jenise Blanc, Lorraine Ziff (Among Friends), Tanya Newobould (Among Friends), and Hallie Jordan (To The Bridge / Producer at Blanc Biehn productions of the upcoming The Art of Perception, Hidden in the Woods and The Girl as well) and introducing Tristan DeVan as Tommy.
‘The Girl’ is a harrowing tale of a kidnapped girl who is rescued by a young boy, and in return is compelled to save him from the horrors that lie in his home.
And our second piece of news sees an exciting development in the long awaited ‘See No Evil’ sequel.
Kane will be returning as the psychopathic monster with Jen and Sylvia Soska (American Mary) behind the camera.
Certainly an exciting prospect to see the Twins hitting the mainstream circle with Lionsgate and WWE Studios, time will show what the girls can bring to a franchise we presumed dead a few years ago. We will have our eyes glued on the developments for this.
