A sad day as we learn of the passing of the godfather of zombie horror at the age of 77. George A Romero’s family have said that “Romero died Sunday in his sleep following a “brief but aggressive battle with lung cancer”.
Romero was the creator of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and it’s 5 sequels as well as stamping his unique originality for horror with the likes if THE CRAZIES and MARTIN.
As we get to terms with this tragic loss, we can rest assured that his work will remain classic and his legacy will never die.
